2018 Capital Builders – Global Citizen

The Global Citizen shirt was designed to change the negative connotation associated with the word ‘immigrant’. In our current political climate people who trace their origins back to different countries are looked down on and are ostracized from America, physically in the case of deportation, or economically through gentrification. As youth entrepreneurs, we recognize the economic contributions global citizens make to our society, and thus wanted to create a shirt that brings awareness to some of the forms of discrimination they encounter.
